Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team and oversee the development of the company’s finance department.

Job Description

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist acts as a single point of contact who is responsible and accountable for the company’s overall financial health and performs financial management duties, including generating financial data and compiling and submitting reports. Oversee the development of the company’s finance department, including creating and reviewing policies and financial procedures and providing valuable insights for management in making sound business decisions in the short and long term.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to upper management to aid in long-term and short-term decision-making and assist with strategic business planning.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
  • Preparing reports as required by law, regulations, or company policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
  • Liaising with HR Manager, Operations Managers, and Operations Supervisors to identify and resolve problems.
  • Escalate critical issues to US-HQ.
  • Attends weekly meetings with the Admin Team.
  • Performs other relevant work that Management may assign from time to time.
  • Responsible for paying the monthly bills of the company.
  • Responsible for Government Mandatory Benefits (SSS, Philhealth, Pagibig & Alphalist Completion and Submission to BIR)
  • Answering and processing all Government-related concerns of the employees.
  • Responsible for enrolling the employee on HMO.
  • Responsible for processing Training allowance and Incentives (Recruitment).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proved experience as a finance manager or in a related finance line of business.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll/finance regulations and laws in the Philippines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
