Job Description

We are seeking an Offshore Asset Manager to support the evaluation, monitoring, and performance of a diverse portfolio of real estate investments across debt and equity. This role plays a key part in analyzing transactions, overseeing asset performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage financial models for the evaluation of investments in debt and equity across all real estate asset classes, reviewing potential transactions for the proper balance of feasibility and risk
Assist in commercial loan underwriting conducting initial and ongoing due diligence for loan transactions including evaluating appraisals, market studies, project capital need assessments, financial statements and credit reports for the project and its Principals, insurance policies and endorsements
Assist in the preparation of loan commitments to borrowers
Interface with clients, outside attorneys, and other investment stakeholders involved in a particular transaction to obtain required documentation
Support the surveillance and asset management of portfolio of investments across debt and equity
Maintain direct daily interface with borrowers, financing counterparties, investors, and firm stakeholders
Monitor, analyze, model, re-underwrite, and report the following: property (occupancy, operating, strategic, clinical performance, changes to the competitive landscape), loan (financial condition), borrower (KYC, regulatory / reputational standing) and portfolio post-closing obligations information
Review and interpret complex mortgage and working capital loan documents in order to enforce and forecast financial covenants, trigger events, and general loan compliance, identifying and escalating potential concern
Supervise the review and processing of extensions, payoffs, amendments, advances, surveys, reserves, capex, and construction draw requests, and insurance proceeds
Assist in origination and underwriting through data analytics, participation in site and corporate entity due visits, and borrower financial and operational risk due diligence
Facilitate the company’s growth by identifying and developing process efficiency improvements, including the development and enhancement of the firm’s custom designed technologies

Minimum Qualifications

Core Competencies: Advanced financial modeling, commercial loan underwriting, DSCR/LTV/IRR analysis, and covenant enforcement.

Asset Class Expertise: Multifamily (MF) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) / Healthcare.

Motivations: Driven by intellectual curiosity, the desire to work on high-stakes U.S. institutional deals, and the opportunity to interface directly with borrowers and stakeholders. They want to be seen as strategic partners, not a back-office processor.
