Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to partner with teams across the business, exploring business problems and delivering clear, data-driven solutions. You’ll develop and generate the reports and analyses leaders rely on and help manage delivery with offshore development teams. You’ll sit at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, turning open questions into shipped solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
Generate ad hoc reports and analyses that answer time-sensitive business questions.
Write Python and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data across the business.
Take projects end to end, from business problem through delivered solution.
Provide project management support by helping coordinate and manage offshore development teams to keep delivery on track.
Contribute to automated data quality and QC processes that keep reporting accurate and trusted.
Support dashboards and reporting that drive portfolio decisions.
Contribute to AI initiatives across the business, including workflow automation, data ingestion, analysis, and insights.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven ability to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
Experience generating ad hoc reports and analyses for business stakeholders.
Strong SQL skills for querying and data modeling.
Familiarity with Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to ask insight-generating questions.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take risks and improve the business.
Strong finance domain knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

Git for version control.
DBT for data transformations.
Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.
Experience working with offshore or distributed development teams.
Airflow or other orchestration tools.
Experience using LLMs for effective coding and productivity.
