A Customer Healthcare Representative handles authorization requests for customers or patients. They work with the billing team and staff members to ensure that the number of authorizations is up-to-date and sufficient. Moreover, they work with the admission team and staff members to ensure all files are complete and signed off. They are also responsible for updating the insurance file of patients electronically and updating the physician’s information in the system. Lastly, they ensure that all patient accounts with balances are reviewed, transferred, and posted accordingly.
