Data Software Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for a Data Software Engineer to consolidate data from across multiple business systems into a single source of truth and build the tools teams rely on every day. You will own the pipelines and warehouse that centralize operational data and build the reporting, dashboards, and internal applications that drive day-to-day business decisions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary engineering resource, taking projects end to end from business problem to deployed production solution.
Design and build data pipelines that consolidate data from multiple systems into a reliable source of truth using Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt.
Build full-stack internal applications using React front ends and Python APIs, including CRUD tools that provide direct access to business data.
Develop reporting and dashboards that support operational management and portfolio decisions.
Evolve data models and warehouse architecture.
Contribute to data quality frameworks and automated QC processes.
Support deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring processes that ensure systems run reliably.
Contribute to AI initiatives across business processes and analytics, including supporting the development of new AI solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Three to five years of work experience building and deploying software end to end, from concept through production.
Strong Python skills across data engineering, backend services, and APIs.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines and transformations using Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, and strong SQL skills.
Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to ask insight-generating questions.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to improve the business through innovation.
Strong healthcare operations domain knowledge.
