Job Description

The Helpdesk and Controller Associate provides first-level technical support by assisting users with hardware, software, and system-related issues through calls, walk-ins, and remote access. They analyze and diagnose technical concerns, dispatch response teams, and escalate issues as needed. The role includes maintaining accurate helpdesk logs, enforcing IT policies, and generating reports. Additionally, they serve as an Asset and Document Controller, managing IT-related files, licenses, contracts, and databases while ensuring compliance with documentation standards. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent customer service to ensure smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

Helpdesk Operation

  • Responsible for 1st level user support and customer service. Be present and visible in the Hepdesk and available to users requiring technical assistance.
  • Analyzes queries relating to both software and hardware and arrive at a quick diagnosis of the issue and initiate appropriate action.
  • Responds to questions from callers and walk-ins; remotely assists managers, staff, and customers with technology problems and inquiries
  • Learns fundamental operations of commonly used software, hardware, and other
  • Effectively dispatches the appropriate technical response team to user locations
  • Follow standard Help Desk operating procedures; accurately log all Helpdesk contacts
  • Enforce all helpdesk
  • Become familiar with available help resources; stay updated on industry technology changes or
  • Gives advice and instructions to users on the simple operation of IT peripherals and
  • Become familiar with IT policies, services, and
  • Directs calls to appropriate IT staff as
  • Maintains reasonable discipline and decorum in the Help
  • Prepare and submit required reports
  • Achieve goals as set by management/
  • Other duties as assigned by Immediate
  • Participates in the I.T. Extended Support
  • Escalates problems to the next higher level of support when necessary
  • Generates Weekly Helpdesk Reports, Status and Accomplishment

Controller (Asset and Document ):

  • Keep files, rationalize and improve the Department’s filing
  • Keep and maintain the list of confidential Licenses and Contracts and other assets of the
  • Keep computerized databases up to date, enter, retrieve and present data using office computer
  • Coordinate, control and monitor HIPAA document which includes policy procedures, and work
  • Take part in the organization and the follow-up of the meetings, conferences and
  • Knowledgeable in drawings and other documents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • With at least Bachelor’s Degree or graduate of any Computer related course.
  • With advance knowledge in PC and System Basic troubleshooting. With experience in handling systems administration in a helpdesk environment for a 24/7 operations.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Dynamic personality with analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be good in technical Posses knowledge in strategic planning, system analysis and customer handling. Knowledgeable in drawings and other documents.
