Job Description

Under the general supervision of the CEO and VP of Recruitment & Operations, the Recruiter Assistant maintains good relationships with applicants, CNA/HHA and Nursing schools, and all key persons to ensure that all applications, externships, and expectations are satisfied.  The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for the entire desk recruitment process for all clinical and non-clinical candidates, ensuring an elevated experience for hiring managers and candidates at every step.  

Responsibilities

  • Drive the hiring process for all open healthcare positions in the organization.   
  • Responsible for reviewing needs and posting jobs in Zip Recruiter, MyCNAJobs, Apploi, and all other job boards the agency will use.    
  • Responsible for monitoring their job postings and can change/edit, repost, or delete, when necessary, to retain those generating leads.   
  • Responsible for scheduling other activities that drives applicants such as job fairs, open houses, school visits, and virtual recruitment sponsored by some job boards.   
  • Responsible for reviewing resumes and credentials of applicants to create a job match with clients.   
  • Responsible for contacting them through Apploi email and text or their assigned work phones and Outlook email to initiate the application process.   
  • Schedules and conducts several interview processes such as the initial interview to check for a match, interview with the Operations Manager for facility, rate and availability discussion, and interview with the facility as required/needed.   
  • Completes pre-employment documents for faster onboarding with the facility.   
  • Evaluates selection process (i.e., interviews, credentials, etc.) including the job boards being used.  
  • Prepares recruitment materials such as brochures, flyers, business cards, and promotional items for recruitment events they are attending or facilitating.  
  • Develops relationships with key person(s) in career centers, job development agencies, etc.  
  • Keeps abreast of employment legislation.   
  • Performs other relevant work that may be assigned from time to time by the COO and Department Directors.   

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and experience. 
  • Has end-to-end recruitment background .
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Adobe PDF) .
  •  Organized and keen on details.
