Job Description

As a Medical Biller, one of the core responsibilities is to diligently send out invoices to clients in a timely manner. Additionally, it is crucial to keep a close eye on outstanding balances to ensure that payments are made in full and on time. This entails meticulous monitoring and follow-up to ensure that all healthcare billing transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. Overall, the role of a Billing Specialist is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient healthcare billing operations of any organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for filling their information into the system.
  • Responsible for encoding, updating, and checking customer’s profile.
  • Accountable for checking incoming payments if there is an overdue or past-due balance.
  • Determine whether or not the client should be subjected to a credit hold.
  • Responsible for encoding correct purchase order numbers and sales.
  • Entering proper item code base in orders.
  • Responsible for responding to emails and calls.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and experience.
  •  Organized and keen on details.
  •  Critical thinking includes analysis, communication, and problem-solving.
